The objective of slide keyboard is to reduce key searching time for the users .It is also intended to be comfortable size and right position of key for the users.  Each key can represent five alphabets. The usage of this keyboard is, it is needed to use central character with normal tap and the surrounding four characters are needed to use with finger slide on keys. For example, to type second consonant of Myanmar character (Ka Kway - ခ) the user need to slide up finger on the intended key. Similarly, for third consonant, the user is needed to slide down on key.

This keyboard is developed that the user can type Myanmar text with Zawgyi.ttf font. In Zawgyi font there are many extra key for the dependent vowel. For example, there are extra glyph for Myanmar right dependent vowel (Ya Yint- ျ- ). The extra glyph can be typed by long press popup keyboard as normal QWERTY like iTextmm keyboard layout.
